Hendricks was endowed in Knoxville, Tn but grown up up in Twice Comes, Florida. Her dad, Bob, performed for the forestry workplace and came originally from England and her mom, Jackie, was a psychological specialist. The family moved to Fairfax, Va when she was 13.

She began doing at organization and went into which at the age of 18. In her starting 20s she also began displaying on TV, getting a chronic aspect in "Beggars and Choosers" (1999) in 2000 and another on "Kevin Hill" (2004) before improving to globally reputation in "Mad Men" (2007).

As well as her more generally conventional prizes nominations (Emmys) and advantages (SAG Awards) she also won a SyFy Classification Award in for "Best Exclusive Guest/Television" for her aspect as Saffron in Joss Whedon's short-lived "Firefly" (2002).
