In 2007, she dedicated Hollyoaks performing expert Gerard McCarthy. The marriage led to separation and divorce in May 2009.
When she revealed in her blog web page on the Red Bob website that one of her ambitions was to have a go at being a magician's affiliate, guests started a "Please saw Zöe in half" marketing, which led to her doing a hurdle where she became a magician's affiliate. Following the taken area of the hurdle, where she had a go at various different illusions, the master then authorized the speakers in the features for a remain show of 'sawing Zöe in half', breaking her in two in the clear-sided box in an impact known as "Clearly Impossible".
